DISTANCE OF BARBS FROM THE NEEDLE POINT
The standard distance from the needle point to the first barb for RB barbs is 6,4 mm, and for MB and CB barbs it is 4,8 mm. On request, or if there exists such a technological requirement, it is possible to make the distance from the barb to the point at 3,2 mm or 2,5 mm. The length of the needle point will then be reduced, respectively, to 2,0 mm or 1,6 mm.
These non-standard dimensions are not included in the needle designation. They are determined in the reference number system. Each needle carries a reference number for identification purposes.
